What We Do

Motion that moves people. And meets every deadline.

Three core disciplines. One consistent creative voice. All of it made by human hands and sharpened by smart tools.

01 — Motion Design

Frame by frame. Every decision made.

Motion design is what happens when graphic design starts moving. It's the discipline behind every animated logo, kinetic title sequence, social video, and brand film — and it's where Motionreel has built its deepest craft.

We work in After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, tools that let us control every element of a composition at the frame level. Every cut, every ease, every hold — each one is a choice a human designer made because it was right for the story.

AI assists our pipeline — generating reference options, speeding up repetitive tasks, accelerating variant production — but the motion itself is always designed by a person who understands what makes a frame feel good.

Tools: After Effects · DaVinci Resolve · Adobe Premiere Pro · Illustrator · Photoshop

What we deliver

  • Brand Films & Promos — Short-form storytelling that communicates what a brand stands for
  • Title Sequences — Opening and closing sequences for films, shows, and branded content
  • Kinetic Typography — Text-in-motion for ads, social, and video essays
  • Social Media Motion — Platform-optimized content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn
  • Website Hero Videos — Ambient loops and dramatic opens that set the tone in seconds
  • Broadcast Graphics — Lower thirds, transitions, full broadcast packages
  • Logo Animation — Static brand marks brought to motion
  • Animated Explainers — Visual explanations that make complex products immediately clear

“The best motion design doesn't call attention to itself. It just makes you feel something and hold on.”

02 — VFX & Compositing

Visual effects that belong in the shot.

What we deliver

  • VFX Integration — Adding effects to live footage — tracked, roto'd, composited to look native
  • Rotoscoping — Frame-by-frame subject isolation for clean compositing and effects
  • 3D / Video Compositing — Blending 3D renders with live footage for product shots and impossible scenes
  • Green Screen & Clean Plate — Key, clean, replace — making footage look captured anywhere
  • Motion Tracking — Object and camera tracking for seamless integration
  • Particle & Fluid Effects — Simulated smoke, fire, water, and physics-based effects
  • Commercial VFX — Effects for advertising — product enhancement, environment, transformation
  • Film VFX — Independent and narrative film effects from subtle fixes to full scene replacement

Good VFX work is invisible. The moment a viewer notices an effect, you've lost them. Our compositing work starts from a single principle: the effect has to belong in the shot.

We approach every VFX job as forensic craftwork. What's the lighting in the plate? What's the grain structure? Where's the camera? We match all of it before we add anything, so the effect looks like it was captured on the day.

Rotoscoping, tracking, 3D compositing, green screen — these are the tools. The skill is knowing when and how to use them to make the shot read as real.

Tools: After Effects · DaVinci Resolve · Blender · Mocha Pro

“The best VFX shot is one nobody asks about. You just believe it happened.”

03 — 3D & Real-Time Animation

Three dimensions. Real-time scale.

3D animation used to require the budget of a feature film to look cinematic. That's changed. With Blender, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine, we can build photorealistic environments, animate complex products, and produce real-time rendered sequences that hold up against anything made in a traditional pipeline — in a fraction of the time.

We use Unreal Engine for projects that need cinematic scale without a cinematic budget: virtual production, architectural visualization, branded environments, and real-time rendering. Blender and Cinema 4D handle modelling, rigging, simulation, and animation for everything from product visualization to full character work.

The human creative lead still shapes every scene. AI accelerates the exploration — generating concept variations, simulating physics, speeding up render processes — but the eye behind the camera is always a person who knows what they're looking at.

Tools: Blender · Cinema 4D · Unreal Engine 5 · After Effects · DaVinci Resolve

What we deliver

  • 3D Product Visualization — Photorealistic renders and animations for marketing and advertising
  • 3D Animation — Character, object, and environment animation for commercials, social, and film
  • Unreal Engine Production — Real-time rendered sequences for brand films and architectural visualization
  • Environment Design & Animation — 3D worlds for compositing backdrops or standalone content
  • Motion Graphics with 3D Integration — 2D motion combined with 3D elements
  • Simulations — Physics, particle, fluid, and cloth simulations
  • Character Design & Animation — Original character work from concept through delivery
  • Virtual Production Elements — LED volume content, backgrounds, virtual camera elements

AI in our workflow. Humans in every decision.

We use AI tools across our production pipeline. Concept generation, variant production, motion reference, repetitive frame work — these are places where AI makes us faster and our clients get more for their budget.

But every creative brief is read by a person. Every concept is approved by a creative director. Every VFX shot is reviewed by a compositor who's been doing this for years. Every delivery is signed off by a human who's responsible for whether it's good.

The studios that handed the whole thing over to AI are making more content. They're not making better content. We're making better content. Faster.

More iterations, same timeline

AI gives us the ability to explore more visual directions in less time — so you see options, not just a single direction.

Craft that scales

Human-led creative strategy means the work is consistent across every format and deliverable — not random output that needs heavy editing.

A team, not a tool

You work with a creative director, not a prompt interface. Someone who thinks about your project, not just your parameters.
